I’m very late to this party and very likely the comments here are no longer being monitored. Nevertheless, I wished to say that I’m in complete agreement with the areas along Lyons Avenue that need improvement. With respect to the Vallarta center, I would place that at the bottom of the list. Areas 4, 7 and 9 are much greater eyesores. Also, I’m very much looking forward to the time when Wiley Canyon, south of Lyons, will receive attention. I realize these things take time.

Is this a racist attack on Vallarta and a classist attack on Smart and Final and 99cents store.
Obviously, I think it is; and another attempt by the city to push their developer buddies’ agenda.

This chart represents the opinion of over 70 neighbors and interested community members that attended the outreach meeting on July 21, 2011 at Old Orchard Park. At that meeting, participants were asked to rate the overall look of buildings/development along Lyons Avenue within the corridor planning area. This chart was created based on the responses of those participants.
